Two ways to work with me.

And the difference is simpler than it looks. Do you want a room of your own, or a room with four other lawyers in it?

I’m a lawyer with ADHD. I’m not a clinician and I don’t pretend to be one. What I do is help high-achieving lawyers with ADHD build a practice that runs on the brain they’ve got instead of grinding against it. That means systems you’ll actually keep, deadlines that stop being a monthly emergency, and a way of talking to yourself about your own work that isn’t contempt.

I’ve been at ADHD in the legal profession since 1999.

One-on-One Coaching

Who it’s for. A practicing lawyer with ADHD who wants the hour shaped entirely around their own practice, their own caseload, and their own particular flavor of ADHD.

What it is. Weekly, one hour, just the two of us, by Zoom. You bring what’s actually in front of you that week. We build the systems together, I hold you to them, and we rebuild them when they stop fitting (they will, and that’s fine).

What it costs. A monthly engagement, no contract, no intake questionnaire, stop whenever it stops being worth it. I’d rather give you the number on the call than have you sort yourself out of the room over a figure on a page.

JDHD Mastermind

Who it’s for. A lawyer with ADHD who’s tired of doing this alone, and who does better with people watching than with a private to-do list.

What it is. Three to five lawyers with ADHD, meeting weekly. We work on the challenges and opportunities any one of us is carrying: the live ones in front of you right now, and the ones the rest of us recognize because we’ve been there ourselves or can picture it landing on our desk next month. I’m in the room every week.

What it costs. $499 a month, covering the weekly hour and a 30-minute one-on-one with me each month. Two brand-new cohorts are forming now, Tuesdays at 2:30 CT and Thursdays at 12:30 CT. A cohort closes once it starts, so these two are the way in.

Still not sure?

Then book the call. Thirty minutes, free, and genuinely for your benefit rather than mine. Tell me what’s going on, I’ll tell you honestly which of the two fits better, and if it’s neither I’ll say that too and point you somewhere useful.

What lawyers say

As a professional with ADHD, I’ve spent countless hours and countless dollars on coaches and productivity programs that never really helped, until I started working with Marshall of JDHD. Marshall understands both the ADHD brain and the lawyer brain, as well as the various pressures from parenting, relationships, etc. that weigh on our lives.

I’ve practiced law for over 20 years, and for the first time, I have hope for the next 20. So whatever excuse/reason you have that’s keeping you from giving Marshall a shot, whether it’s personal, financial, or indecision due to that wacky prefrontal cortex we ADHD’ers seem to have, set it aside and take the plunge.

Marshall calmed me down when I was overwhelmed. He has marketing savvy, a growth mindset, and pushes me to think differently. He just gets it. He is someone who can explain to you why you are different and why that is okay.

You don’t have to start by hiring anybody. Read ADHD 101 if you’re still working out whether this is you, or ADHD Diagnosis if you’re weighing whether to get evaluated. ADHD in Women Lawyers is the piece people send to each other most. And there’s a podcast with twelve episodes on it, including an hour with Dr. Ned Hallowell.
